A bit about me….

I’ve spent most of my career in the corporate world, leading global services at Experian, where I worked across identity solutions, fraud prevention, and application processing. I’ve always believed that the systems I worked on had a positive impact on society—keeping fraud in check helps keep borrowing costs down for everyone. It was a role I found deeply rewarding, and it gave me a wealth of experience in problem-solving, innovation, and making complex processes work smoothly.

Then, I found myself on a new path—one that felt even more personal. I started working on software solutions in the ECO sector and quickly realised there were two major issues that couldn’t be ignored.

The Challenge of Carbon Reduction

First, the rollout of the UK’s carbon reduction targets was, to put it bluntly, a mess. Bureaucratic hurdles, sluggish processes, and loose regulation created inefficiencies that should never have existed in the first place. I saw an opportunity to make a difference. That’s why I committed to building a software solution that not only protects customer data but also speeds up the entire process—because getting these upgrades done efficiently isn’t just about hitting environmental targets; it’s about making homes better, warmer, and more affordable to run.

The Reality of Energy Inequality

The second issue hit even harder. I was shocked to see how many families were struggling—not just because of rising energy prices, but because this problem had been brewing for years. Energy insecurity isn’t new; the recent crisis just amplified it. Too many people are stuck choosing between essentials, stretching every pound to make it through the month. That’s not a choice anyone should have to make in 2025.

This realisation has driven my team and me to work even harder. Our mission is clear: to reach as many households as possible and make sure homes across the UK are not just liveable but comfortable, efficient, and built to support modern energy needs.

Looking Ahead

We’re growing, and with that growth comes more opportunities—to innovate, to improve, and to ensure that help gets to the people who need it most. The work we do isn’t just about insulation, heating, or carbon targets. It’s about people. It’s about making sure that every home is a place of comfort, not compromise.

We’re just getting started.
