LA Flex

The LA Flex scheme is an extension of the ECO4 scheme. It allows for more funding given to Local authorities to identify those who fall short of the eligibility for the ECO4 scheme but would benefit from added insulation or heating measures.

Its essentially the same scheme, with a different application process. If customers do not qualify through ECO4, you may still be eligible for funding from your local council.

Please note each council is different and may vary. 

To be eligible for the LA Flex fund, you must satisfy one or more of the following requirements:

  • Low-income: If the household income is less than £31,000 before tax, you will qualify through route 1 of the LA Flex scheme.
  • Certain conditions that are impacted by the cold: Those with respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, neurobiological disease, cancer, limited mobility, or autoimmune and immunological diseases will qualify via route 3 of the LA Flex scheme. 

Warm homes discount scheme

The warm homes discount scheme was established by national grid and is administered by affordable warmth solutions to combat fuel poverty throughout the UK.
