At Consumer Rights, we are looking to expand our list of subcontractors for government funded work.

Currently, we are sending hundreds of government-funded jobs to our partner installers every week, and we expect this number to reach around 1,000 by March 2024. We have thousands of homeowners and landlords seeking assistance who fall into the ‘able to pay’ category, and they call our energy advice centre.

You may be familiar with Consumer Rights as an organisation. We are currently heavily involved in the energy efficiency and decarbonisation sector, working with installers, councils & utility companies nationwide to support decarbonisation efforts.

As we move from area to area, we try to use local traders to work as subcontractors for our Trustmark installers as having a robust network is key to our delivery efforts. Subcontractors require NVQ level 2 or 3 qualifications, depending on the measure; however, if you are not qualified but have experience, we can access funding for training. If you are not familiar with the ECO Scheme or the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) I would urge you to read about it online. This information is available on our website.

Our biggest gap is currently insulation installers. We can actually arrange free training for Internal Wall Insulation and ensure you get appropriately qualified to complete installs. Please reach out to us if you would like to get on a free training course which in turn, will mean we can supply a lot of work to you.
