Yes — ECO4 has closed to new applications. Work approved
earlier is still being completed, but you can’t start a new ECO4 claim, and
you should be cautious of anyone still advertising “ECO4 grants”.

What replaced it

Several schemes remain open. The
Warm Homes: Local Grant helps lower-income owner-occupiers in
England with insulation and low-carbon heating. The
Great British Insulation Scheme offers insulation help but is
closing to new installations on 31 March 2026. And the
Boiler Upgrade Scheme gives £7,500 towards a heat pump. The
government’s wider Warm Homes Plan is also rolling out over the coming years.
