The Consumer Council for Water (CCW) is the independent body representing
water and sewerage customers in England and Wales. It provides free advice,
helps resolve complaints, and campaigns for a fair deal for customers.

What it helps with

If you’ve complained to your water company and aren’t happy with the outcome,
CCW can take up your case independently and negotiate on your behalf, at no
cost. It also has clear guidance on help with bills, including social tariffs
and the WaterSure scheme.

When to turn to it

Contact CCW when your water company hasn’t resolved a complaint, or for
impartial help understanding your bill and the support available.
